Job Description Aspire365 is seeking Peer Support / Life Coaches to work with First Responders. This is a contracted part-time position where services are delivered to the client through in-home and telemedicine visits. If you are a caring, dedicated professional who possesses strong communication skills and a true desire to help others, this is the position for you! Aspire365 has a specific mission—to deliver the highest quality evidence-based care to anyone suffering with a substance use disorder. This is accomplished by changing the way treatment is delivered. An intensive evidence-based chronic program to treat a chronic illness. This position is a remote role. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive experience working with First responders in all disciplines and was a first responder themselves. We will also except applications from people with military experience. Responsibilities for Peer Support / Life Coach include, but not limited to: Utilize skills developed through certification to help client through the recovery processResponsible for scheduling own appointments with the client according to client’s scheduleEngage and participate with client in replacement activitiesWork with the client to complete treatment goals and tasks set by the Addiction Psychiatrist, Nurse and TherapistCommunicate to the Recovery Team and Program Coordinator any non-compliance, behavior changes, issues or incidents either witnessed or communicatedHelp clients build trust, as well as, open and honest communication, share life experiences of recoveryTakes client to group meetings (When applicable)Provide client with support via phone or text on days there is not a face-to-face contactComplete any documentation required by Aspire365 or the Recovery Support Team Qualifications Experience as a First Responder and or Experience providing care to first respondersKnowledge of State professional and ethical guidelinesHIPAA ComplianceWork cooperatively and effectively with others to set goals, motivate clients and resolve problemsMinimum of 10 hours available per monthEvening and Weekend AvailabilityMeet with client in the client’s home throughout the 12-month programRemote Meeting Proficiency Education & Credentials Must be 21 years of age or older with a valid driver's licenseMust have experience as a First Responder or have worked in the militaryComplete Recovery Coach TrainingsMaintain state requirementsCurrently maintaining sobriety (minimum of 1 year)Must be a Certified Life Coach or Certified Peer Support Job Type: Contracted Part-Time Pay Rate: between $25-$30 per session Experience: Peer Support Experience: 1 year (Preferred) License: CPRS or CLC or Equivalent Work Location: remote Aspire365 facilitates the treatment of behavioral health conditions including addiction medicine.
