About the role
The Peer Mentor III Track Two Navigator position is designed to support students in their academic journey. This role involves providing guidance, resources, and emotional support to help students achieve their academic goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one mentoring sessions to support student success
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to develop and implement programs that enhance student learning
- Assist in the development and implementation of workshops and seminars on various topics relevant to student success
- Conduct regular check-ins with mentees to monitor progress and address any challenges they may be facing
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities to stay updated on best practices and new initiatives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience working with diverse populations
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for education and student success
