Peds Pulmonary- Full Time - NP/PA
About the role
The Pediatric Pulmonology team at Brenner Children’s is seeking a highly motivated Advanced Practice Provider (APP) (PA-C or Acute Care Certified Nurse Practitioner) to join our growing and collaborative team.
Responsibilities
- Provides comprehensive care for pediatric patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions across both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Practices with a high degree of autonomy while working in close collaboration with pediatric pulmonologists and an interdisciplinary care team.
- Supports inpatient care for children admitted with acute respiratory needs three days per week.
- Serves outpatient pulmonology clinics two days per week, including cystic fibrosis and general pulmonary care.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant Program; Master's Degree preferred.
- Current North Carolina Medical Board Medical License, Certified by NCCP.
- Pediatric experience preferred but will consider new grads.
- BLS and PALS are required.
Qualifications
- Graduation from accredited Nurse Practitioner Master's Program, Master's degree or higher required.
- Current North Carolina Board of Nursing Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner license.
- Board certified as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner - Acute Care.
- Pediatric experience preferred but will consider new grads.
- BLS and PALS are required.
