Pedo Dental Assistant-$1,000 Sign on Bonus

Schedule

• Monday & Tuesday: 8 am – 5 pm
• Wednesday & Thursday: 7 am – 4 pm
• First and Third Friday: 7 am – 11 am

Responsibilities

• Assists doctors, including but not limited to charting, placement of fillings, operatory set/clean up, and patient education.
• Able to perform expanded duties following state regulations and compliance.
• Assists in clinical procedures and treatment such as placing amalgam or composite fillings, adaptation of temporary crowns, removing surgical sutures, and applying topical fluoride treatments (limitations apply per state requirements).
• Records and reviews patient health history, makes chart entries under the doctor's direction, and assures completion of forms and signatures in dental software.
• Enters and updates patient treatment plans at the direction of the treating dentist.

Requirements

• Coronal Polish Certification required
• Sealant Certification preferred
• Radiography licensure for respective state requirements
• 1–5 years of experience preferred; will consider new graduates
• CPR Certification required
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Knowledge of dental charting software and digital x-rays with the ability to learn new programs as necessary
