Brattleboro Dental Health is seeking an experienced, dependable Dental Assistant to join our collaborative team in Brattleboro, VT. Pay
Competitive pay: $20–$27/hour, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
Sign-On Bonus
$1,000–$1,500 sign-on bonus for joining our team.

Schedule
Consistent weekday schedule: Monday–Friday, 8 AM–5 PM with no evenings or weekends.

Responsibilities
- Provide confident chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare patients, treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for scheduled procedures
- Take and process diagnostic-quality dental x-rays
- Follow sterilization, infection control, OSHA, and safety protocols
- Maintain clean, organized, and treatment-ready operatories
- Educate patients on procedures, oral hygiene, and post-treatment instructions
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient information
- Monitor clinical supplies and assist with inventory
- Collaborate with dentists and team members to support efficient patient flow
- Help create a warm, reassuring experience for patients throughout their visit
Requirements
- Previous dental assisting experience required
- Strong chairside assisting skills and ability to contribute effectively in a busy dental practice
- Radiology/x-ray certification as required
- Current CPR certification
- Dental Assistant education, license, or certification as applicable/preferred
- Knowledge of sterilization and infection-control standards
- Strong communication, organization, and time-management skills
- Dependable, professional, and team-oriented approach
