About the role
The Iowa Primary Care Association is recruiting a Dental Assistant to work at a vibrant community health center (FQHC) in Marshalltown, Iowa. The team is expanding and will add a new DA to work alongside a new Dentist starting June 2026. A community health center (FQHC) is the largest source of comprehensive primary care for underserved communities, offering an integrated care model that includes medical, dental, behavioral health, and pharmacy services, allowing patients to access coordinated services often under one roof.
Role details: Monday‑Friday, 8:00 am‑5:00 pm. Provider team includes 2 dentists with a 2:1 DA‑to‑dentist ratio. EHR: Ochin Epic. Eligible for a $2,000 sign‑on bonus ($500 at hire, $500 at 6 months, $1,000 at 1 year).

Requirements
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent training meeting Iowa Dental Board requirements
- Current QDA registration through the Iowa Dental Board
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not required
