Pediatrics - Hospital Medicine (Senior Faculty)

About the Role

The Baylor College of Medicine Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine is seeking an inpatient faculty member to join our team at Texas Children's Hospital (TCH) in Houston, Texas. This position is based at the Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world. The successful candidate will join a diverse group of hospitalists with interests in family-centered care, clinical research, teaching, quality improvement, and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care to pediatric patients in an inpatient setting
• Supervise and educate medical students and residents from the largest pediatric residency program in the nation
• Participate in clinical research, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives
• Collaborate with world-renowned subspecialists in caring for patients with varied medical conditions and unusual presentations
• Engage in unique clinical programs, including our dedicated inpatient complex care team and inpatient behavioral health team

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE) in Pediatrics
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Willingness to provide clinical supervision and didactic education
• Preference for BC/BE in Pediatric Hospital Medicine, but not required
