About the Role
AMN Healthcare has partnered with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) to recruit a Medical Director of Pediatric Infectious Diseases Clinical Operations in Charleston, South Carolina. This leadership opportunity offers the ability to shape one of the fastest-growing Pediatric Infectious Diseases programs in the country, driving clinical excellence, operational strategy, and program expansion within a highly collaborative academic environment.
You will partner with divisional leadership to optimize care delivery, expand access, and lead the development of a nationally recognized Immunocompromised Pediatric Infectious Diseases program, while contributing to education, research, and multidisciplinary care across MUSC Children’s Health.
Responsibilities
- Lead one of the fastest-growing Pediatric Infectious Diseases programs in the country
- Oversee two inpatient consult services, outpatient clinics, and antimicrobial stewardship
- Build a premier Immunocompromised Pediatric Infectious Diseases program
- Collaborate with oncology, transplant, ICU, NICU, and surgical subspecialties
- Participate in a well-established fellowship program with teaching opportunities
- Drive measurable improvements in access, outcomes, and care coordination
Qualifications
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Infectious Diseases
