Pediatrician - Sherwood Family Medical Center
About the role
The recruitment need is due to the unanticipated departure of one of the pediatricians. The new physician will assume their patients and will continue to grow the practice by accepting new patients and newborns from Sherwood and the surrounding communities.
Responsibilities
- See an average of 5,200 annual visits or 20 patients per day
- Have a dedicated nurse to address patient needs
- Have a pool of nurses to room patients
- Work with behavioral health specialists for support
- Work with a pediatric nurse who functions as a care coordinator, vaccine expert, and a referral specialist
- Have x-ray and lab services in-house
