Pediatrician

Key Responsibilities

• Provide well-child care, including physical exams, developmental screenings, and immunizations
• Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric illnesses
• Counsel and educate patients and families on health, nutrition, safety, and preventive care
• Order, interpret, and follow up on diagnostic tests and lab work
• Participate in a shared on-call rotation, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with nursing staff, specialists, and other providers to coordinate patient care
• Adhere to all clinical protocols, regulatory requirements, and quality standards

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Pediatrics residency program
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatrics
• Active (or eligible for) [State] medical license
• Current DEA registration
• Current BLS and PALS certification
• Strong clinical, interpersonal, and communication skills

Schedule

• Full-time — three 12-hour shifts per week (3x12s)
• Compressed schedule offering four days off per week
• Shared on-call rotation (evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled)
• Inpatient/newborn coverage as needed
