Pediatric Telephone Triage RN

About the role

Office Location: Heritage Valley Pediatrics Chippewa. Provides professional pediatric nursing care via telephone triage support for the pediatric practice. Renders professional nursing care to ensure the comfort and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities

• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed by providers.
• Maintains patients' medical records on observations.
• May assist providers during treatment and examination of patient.
• Performs necessary follow-up care, instructions and education to the patient.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited professional school of nursing.
• Current Pennsylvania licensure (other state licensure as required).
• Basic Cardiac Life Support.
• Successful completion of applicable clearances as outlined in Human Resources policy HR-106 within 90 days of commencing employment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors of Science Degree in nursing.
• ACLS.

Schedule

Work Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 - 4:30pm with rotating Saturday (8:00 - 1:00pm) and Evening (10:00 - 7:00pm) shifts.
