Pediatric Sports Medicine Physician, Primary Care

About the role

This physician will join a division of 10 surgeons, 3 non-operative physicians, and 11 physician assistants providing orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to over 40,000 patient visits in 2025. Physicians are strongly encouraged to apply for faculty appointments at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic and musculoskeletal care to patients of all ages
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
• Participate in the training of Orthopedic residents from HCA Florida Ocala Hospital and Larkin Health System
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of an accredited Pediatric Orthopedic Fellowship program
• Engage in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

• M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery
• Current Florida Medical License
• Experience in primary care sports medicine preferred
