About the role
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Speech Language Pathologists (SLP), Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA), and Clinical Fellows to provide in-home therapy services for children with communication, feeding, and developmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Provide evidence-based speech therapy in the home and community
- Perform evaluations and develop treatment plans (Speech Language Pathologist / SLP)
- Implement treatment plans under supervision (Speech Language Pathologist Assistant / SLPA and Clinical Fellow)
- Deliver interventions targeting speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and social/emotional development
- Educate and empower families and caregivers
- Coordinate care with physicians and referral partners
- Develop home programs to ensure continued progress
- Document all care and services in EMR
- Maintain compliance with clinical and regulatory standards
Qualifications
- Active Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license, or eligibility for Clinical Fellow program
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) or actively pursuing (for Speech Language Pathologist / Clinical Fellow)
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program (Speech Language Pathologist / Clinical Fellow)
- Current CPR certification
- Pediatric or home health experience preferred
- Experience with feeding and swallowing therapy preferred
