Pediatric Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA)

About the role

Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Speech Language Pathologist Assistants (SLPA) to provide in-home therapy services for children with communication, feeding, and developmental needs. The ideal candidate is passionate about pediatric care and enjoys making a meaningful impact through hands-on therapy support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver speech therapy interventions under the supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Speech Language Pathologist
• Support children with speech, language, communication, and feeding/swallowing needs
• Aid in improving functional communication and independence
• Guide families on therapy carryover techniques
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to the supervising Speech Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Coordinate care with clinical team members
• Document all therapy services in EMR
• Maintain compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Active Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) license (Texas)
• At least 1+ year of pediatric or home health experience
• Experience with feeding and swallowing therapy
• Bilingual: English and Spanish
