About the role

We are looking for a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in the Fort Worth, Texas area (primarily in the 76104 zip code). As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring pediatric patients receive comprehensive and well-coordinated care in the comfort of their own homes. Clinicians at Connect build lasting relationships with their patients and families while delivering impactful therapy services.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations using standardized tests to determine pediatric patients' needs for therapy.
• Use clinical judgment to develop and implement relevant treatment plans aligned with physician's orders.
• Provide in-home therapy services for pediatric patients with a wide range of diagnoses.
• Engage with patients' families, providing regular communication and updates on goals for their child.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including other therapy disciplines, physicians, and nurses, to develop holistic treatment plans addressing diverse patient needs.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation reflecting care provided and communicate changes in treatment plans to the healthcare team.
• Actively participate in one-on-one meetings with team leads to discuss patient progress, share insights, and refine treatment strategies collaboratively.

Requirements

• A valid, active Speech Therapy license in the state of Texas.
• Current BLS/CPR License.
• Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and automotive insurance.
• Pediatric experience is preferred but not required.
