Pediatric Sonographer (Part-Time, Weekend Option)

About the Role

The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular procedures, on pediatric and adult patients to aid in diagnosis and treatment. This role emphasizes high-quality patient care, technical proficiency, and adherence to procedural standards in a reputable pediatric hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper function of ultrasound equipment
• Perform ultrasound exams and document findings
• Conduct studies independently, including portable exams and off-site procedures

Requirements

• Associate degree or trade school certification
• RDMS or equivalent license
• CPR certification
• Prior experience preferred but not mandatory (less than two years of experience desirable)
• Experience with vascular imaging and additional certifications (e.g., RDCS) are advantageous
