Pediatric Sonographer (Weekend Option) Part-Time

About the Role

The Sonographer performs ultrasound imaging for pediatric and adult patients, including abdominal, small parts, obstetrical, and vascular studies, to aid in diagnosis and treatment. The role involves ensuring equipment readiness, conducting examinations independently, and documenting procedures accurately. No prior pediatric experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure proper equipment functioning
• Perform ultrasound procedures independently, including portable and off-site exams
• Accurately document all procedures
• Assist with needle procedures such as biopsies and drainages

Requirements

• Associate or Trade School education
• Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or equivalent certification
• Preferred: less than 2 years of experience, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), RDCS or equivalent

Schedule

24-hour weekly schedule with weekend shifts. No on-call duties.
