This position is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of Abbott Pediatric Nutritional products in hospital and office settings. The ideal candidate will be based out of Ft. Wayne, IN. This territory includes Ft. Wayne, IN. Up to 50% travel with company car provided. This position does not offer relocation; local candidates only, please.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support territory sales goals in hospital and office settings for Similac and PediaSure.
- Hospital negotiations and contracting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of all products, clinical studies, protocols and guidelines as well as the ability to deliver the information in a selling environment.
- New product launches.
- Understand the hierarchy of hospital departments such as NICU, Pediatrics, Pharmacies, Purchasing, PICU, Nurseries and Nursing units.
- Work effectively with Dietitians, Physicians and Nurses.
- Effective administrative skills and budget management.
- Function independently with a high degree of initiative, independence, and autonomy.
- Self-motivated, seeking success at achieving both short- and long-term goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 2+ years of healthcare sales experience combined with clinical experience (Registered Dietitians and Registered Nurses preferred).
- Stability and proven success in sales.
- Subject matter expert with high business acumen.
- Knowledge of hospital settings, specifically within pediatrics, is a plus.

Pay
The base pay for this position is $61,300.00 – $122,700.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
