Pediatric RN - In-Home Care

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, patient-centered nursing care to medically fragile children in their homes.
• Perform assessments, accurately document clinical notes, and administer medications, treatments, and therapies.
• Educate and support patients and families on care and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality outcomes.
• Respond promptly to changes in condition and emergencies.
• Provide specialized care such as ventilator, trach, oxygen, feeding tube, catheter, and ostomy care.
• Support pediatric patients in school for one-on-one nursing care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Active New York State RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Minimum of 2 years pediatric nursing experience, preferably in acute/critical care or home care/school nursing.
