About the role

The Department of Pediatrics at The Children’s Hospital at Saint Peter’s University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ, is seeking a full-time Pediatric Rheumatologist to establish and lead the Division of Pediatric Rheumatology.

Scope of Practice

  • Full spectrum of pediatric autoimmune and inflammatory conditions, including Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis (JIA), Systemic Lupus Erythematosus (SLE), juvenile dermatomyositis, vasculitis, Kawasaki disease, periodic fever syndromes, and autoinflammatory diseases
  • Multidisciplinary partnership with pediatric nephrology, ophthalmology (uveitis monitoring), dermatology, orthopedics, physical therapy, and occupational therapy

Requirements

  • A Medical degree and the successful completion of ACGME or AOA residency and Fellowship MD or DO license in the State of New Jersey
  • Certification or eligibility from the appropriate specialty or subspecialty board
  • CDS and DEA license required
  • Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance
  • Full-time compensation at Saint Peter’s Healthcare System ranges from 175,000.00 - 750,000.00 USD, which is impacted by various factors, including but not limited to physician specialty, years of experience, academic and administrative appointment, and pre-established metrics on productivity/patient engagement/quality.
