Responsibilities
As a Pediatric Registered Nurse, you will:
- Provide skilled, individualized nursing care in the home setting
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Manage and care for specialized equipment, including: G-Tubes, Tracheostomies, Ventilators
- Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate families on care plans, treatments, and health management
- Promote patient comfort, safety, and quality of life
Qualifications
- Active Connecticut Registered Nurse (RN) License
- Current BLS Certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently in a home care environment
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Fairfield County
- Preferred: Pediatric nursing experience, Tracheostomy and ventilator experience, PALS Certification
