About the role
Provide specialized nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents in a small family-friendly unit.
Work closely with pediatricians, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic, family-centered care.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and report any changes.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York.
- Experience in pediatric nursing required.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with children and families.
- Current BLS and PALS certifications.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.
