Pediatric Registered Nurse

About the role

As a Pediatric Registered Nurse with Affirmed Home Care, you will provide individualized skilled nursing services to children in the comfort of their homes. You'll have the opportunity to deliver exceptional patient-centered care while developing lasting relationships with families and making a meaningful impact every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one nursing care to pediatric clients in their homes
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with patients and families
• Adhere to established protocols and guidelines for pediatric care
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare providers
• Assess and monitor patient health status and adjust care plans accordingly

Requirements

• Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current BLS Certification
• One year of recent pediatric nursing experience preferred in home care, hospital, or acute care
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver's license preferred
• Physical examination completed within the past 12 months
• Certificate of PPD or QuantiFERON test (within one year) or chest X-ray (within five years)
• Proof of MMR immunity (lab report)

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program
• Pass a background check

Pay

$55.00 per hour
