About the role
Maintains a clean and hygienic environment.
Trains and educates students, interns, volunteers, and patient’s family members.
Supports staff by organizing data and individual children’s programs daily.
Maintains organization in the classroom and other areas.
Builds professional relationships with co-workers by being considerate of workloads and assisting with duties.
Communicates honestly and addresses issues and problems privately.
Respects each discipline’s expertise and knowledge without questioning it in front of the patient/family.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with physical, occupational, speech-language, and music therapists, as well as early childhood special educators and BCBA.
- Works with leadership team and social worker on individual child and family needs and accessing community resources.
- Provides direct therapy under the supervision of the BCBA to assist children in developing cognitive, language, self-help, social, and motor skills.
- Punctual with returning phone calls and emails, and for scheduled work hours, meetings, and patient treatment.
- Utilizes computer access confidentially and appropriately, following HIPAA guidelines, including appropriate use of social media.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
- Entry level competency of behavior analytic practice with young children (preferred).
- Bachelor's degree (required).
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) (preferred).
- First Aid CPR AED (CPR AED) (preferred).
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) (preferred).
- NonViolent Crisis Intervention Program (preferred).
Qualifications
- 1+ years of position-related experience (required).
Skills
- Knowledge of behavior analytic practice with young children (preferred).

Schedule
Full-time, Monday - Thursday, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
Pay
$16.89 - $27.03 per hour.
