About the role
The Department of Pediatrics, at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV, is recruiting for a full-time Pediatric Pulmonology faculty member at the rank of Assistant/Associate/Professor.
Responsibilities
- Provide quality care to pediatric pulmonary patients from birth to young adulthood.
- Conduct clinical care at area hospitals including Sunrise/Children’s Hospital, UMC/Children’s Hospital, and others as assigned.
- Offer outpatient clinical care at the UNLV Health Faculty Practice plan clinic(s).
- Participate in hospital, departmental, and university committees.
- Engage in pediatric outreach activities and advocacy.
Requirements
- MD or DO degree from an accredited college or university.
- Board Eligible or Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Pulmonary Medicine.
- Eligible for an unrestricted Nevada medical license, pharmacy, and DEA licenses.
- Ability to obtain privileges at affiliated hospitals and other site locations.
