About the role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated Physician Assistant to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected inpatient practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network.

• NCCPA Certified
• Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
• Perform rapid medical evaluations, order diagnostic tests, and initiate immediate, age-specific treatments for critically ill or injured pediatric patients in the emergency department
• Educate parents and caregivers on complex pediatric diagnoses, medication administration, and specific red-flag symptoms, while coordinating safe home care plans or inpatient admissions

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Physician Assistant credentialed from the Maryland Board of Physicians obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required
• Advanced Life Support preferred (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted)
• Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program (Master's degree preferred)
• 1 year of experience preferred

Pay

Base salary: $112,012 - $145,933 per year
