Medical Assistant

About the role

We're seeking a compassionate and reliable full-time Medical Assistant to join our dedicated team at Capital Cardiology Associates. You will collaborate with registered nurses to provide high-quality care for our patients.

Responsibilities

• Perform EKGs, phlebotomy, vital sign checks, medication reconciliation, and assist with medical records.
• Provide exceptional patient support and care in various procedures.
• Aid in patient check-in/check-out, including verifying demographics, insurance, scheduling appointments, collecting co-pays, and ensuring test authorizations are in place.
• Demonstrate strong multitasking abilities and communication skills to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• An MA, BLS, and Phlebotomy certification are preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills and strong attention to detail are essential.
• A cardiac background is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with medical software and terminology is a plus.

Pay

$22-$23 per hour based on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Monday through Friday schedule with no nights and weekends.
