About the role

Synergy Orthopedic Specialists Medical Group is seeking a detail-oriented Medical Assistant to support their team in providing comprehensive and efficient care.

Responsibilities

• Aid providers in exam rooms
• Aid providers with procedures
• Stock and clean exam rooms
• Scribe for physicians
• Enter vitals, history, and other medical information into EMR
• Provide patient care
• Perform X-Ray Services
• Remove sutures and/or stitches
• Perform data entry
• Obtain authorizations for surgeries
• Schedule appointments
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Orthopedic experience is recommended but not required
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is recommended
• 2+ years of Medical Assistant experience
• Current CPR/BLS card
• Basic computer skills are required
