Pediatric Physical Therapist (PT) – Special Education Preschool, 10-Month Schedule

This is a vibrant, well-resourced special education preschool serving children ages three through five with developmental delays and complex support needs. The school is part of a major nonprofit organization operating more than 70 programs and serving over 35,000 adults and children throughout New York City, Northern New Jersey, and Westchester.

About the role

The therapy department was built to let clinicians actually practice therapy—not spend the day negotiating for treatment space, equipment, or permission to try something new. You will have your own desk, access to a large state-of-the-art therapy gym, dedicated treatment rooms, and supplies that go well beyond what most school-based clinicians are accustomed to having. Leadership is willing to listen and move on ideas for new treatment approaches, technology, training, or in-service.

This is meaningful work with children and families who may be navigating significant challenges. The right Physical Therapist will be resilient, creative, collaborative, and firmly committed to advocating for the children—even when progress requires patience.
