About the Role

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children's Hospital & Health Network is seeking a Pediatric Outpatient Occupational Therapist to join an amazing team. You will be part of a larger interdisciplinary program of 7 Mary Bridge outpatient therapy clinics offering supports only found in a pediatric hospital network, integrated with a large hospital and outpatient pediatric specialty programs for enhanced service provision.

Position Summary

The Physical Therapist evaluates, plans, and implements medically prescribed treatment programs for patients to restore functions, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease or injury. This professional-level position gives you the capacity for independent operations as you apply discretion and good judgment toward ensuring high-quality therapeutic care.

Responsibilities

  • Perform well in stress and emergency situations
  • Perform patient evaluations/re-evaluations, establish a treatment plan, and modify the treatment plan according to the needs of the patient and response to treatment
  • Perform treatment interventions for outpatient and/or inpatient population as directed
  • Perform documentation in the medical record that is timely and accurate
  • Communicate well with patients, peers, and other health professionals in the coordination of care for the patients

Requirements

  • Successful completion of state board examination
  • Currently licensed to practice physical therapy in the State of Washington
  • Experience in orthopedic, neurologic, cardiac patient management desirable

Pay and Benefits

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. The pay scale is $49.36 - $78.25 USD. Pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
