About the role

The Physical Therapist role at Pen Bay Hospital performs physical therapy evaluations, develops treatment plans, and carries out therapies to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability following disease, injury, or loss of a body part. This role helps patients reach their maximum performance according to the Plan of Care prescribed by the provider.

Responsibilities

  • Performs physical therapy evaluations and develops treatment plans
  • Carries out treatments to restore function, relieve pain, and prevent disability
  • Works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
  • Adheres to standards established by the American Physical Therapy Association

Requirements

  • Graduate of an APTA accredited Physical Therapist program
  • Current applicable state(s) temporary/permanent license as a Physical Therapist
  • Current BLS certification
  • One year of experience working in a hospital, long-term care, home, school system, or outpatient Physical Therapy department preferred

$83,324.80 to $112,736.00 per year
