About the role
As a Weekend Clinic Nurse for our Ambulatory Care Unit, you’ll have the opportunity to serve a broad range of St. Jude patients: routine protocols, high-intensity acute visits, and a mix of patients from across our range of clinics. Because of the unique and variable nature of the problems you’ll be called to solve, you’ll have the opportunity to utilize every clinical skill in your toolbox, thinking critically and collaborating with your team of nurses, NPs, and physicians to provide the very best care for our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide exemplary patient care in a weekend clinic setting
- Utilize a broad range of clinical skills to address variable patient needs
- Collaborate with nurses, nurse practitioners, and physicians
- Think critically to solve unique and complex clinical problems
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- RN license required
- BSN required
- Completion of eighteen (18) months of clinical nursing experience (St. Jude or other RN experience)
- Must possess a current Tennessee State Board of Nursing license if primary residence is Tennessee or a Nurse Licensure non-Compact state
- Must possess a current State Board of Nursing license in the state of primary residence if the state is a Nurse Licensure Compact state
Schedule
Day shift: 7:30 AM - 8:00 PM, Weekend (Saturday and Sunday).
Pay
A reasonable estimate of the current salary range is $31.50 - $55.00 per hour for the role of Pediatric Oncology Nurse II: Weekend Clinic.
