Pediatric Occupational Therapist

About the role

Join Team Tidelands and help people live better lives through better health! As an Occupational Therapist in the Outpatient department, you will provide a full range of therapeutic services including assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment.

Responsibilities

• Performed documentation per clinical / department guidelines and meets expectations of monthly department chart audits.
• Achieve the established average monthly patient care productivity metric year to date.
• Promote / educate NextStep Rehabilitation programs to referring physicians and healthcare providers.
• Proactively impact his or her cancel / no show percentage as it relates to improving quality care and patient outcomes.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Master's Degree from an accredited therapy program and performed the required clinical internships satisfactorily.
• Occupational Therapist Registered/Licensed - South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation.
• Basic Life Support Certified - American Heart Association is required within 30 days of hire. Recertification every two years is Required.
