Pediatric Occupational Therapist

About the role

We are seeking a passionate Pediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team. You will be responsible for comprehensive evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, utilizing a strengths-based, child-led approach, providing therapy to foster development, mentoring and supervising Certified Assistant Occupational Therapists (COTAs), offering carry-over activities and home programs to ensure success in various settings, and collaborating closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Utilize a strengths-based, child-led approach to therapy
• Provide therapy to foster development
• Mentor and supervise COTA to ensure effective patient care
• Offer carry-over activities and home programs to ensure success in every setting
• Collaborate closely with other members of each patient’s care team to provide adequate follow-up care

Requirements

• Must hold the required state license for occupational therapy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Good attention to detail
• The ability to stay positive and compassionate over a long period of time with patients

Pay

$50.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule

This position is full-time. Partly in our clinic and partly home health (homes, schools, and daycares). This can be established as PRN if you choose.
