Pediatric Nurse RN/LPN, Kansas City Kansas & Surrounding Areas

About the role

Provide 1:1 pediatric home health care, helping children with medical complexities grow and thrive safely at home. As a Home Health Nurse / Private Duty Nurse, you’ll care for one child at a time, developing real connections, seeing progress firsthand, and becoming part of something bigger.

Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized nursing care to children ages 1‑21 with trachs, vents, and g‑tubes.
• Support each child’s growth, development, and quality of life in the home setting.
• Build meaningful relationships with the child and family while monitoring progress.
• Participate in specialized hands‑on training for ventilator, trach, and g‑tube care.
• Access 24/7 team support for clinical questions and guidance.

Requirements

• Current RN or LPN license.
• Pediatric experience is a plus but not required.
• Heart for helping kids and a willingness to learn.

Skills

• Ventilator, trach, and g‑tube care (training provided).
• Ability to work one‑on‑one with pediatric patients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules and client needs.

Pay

• Base hourly range: $27.00 – $35.00/hour (based on license, experience, qualifications).
• Sign‑on bonus up to $4,000 for full‑time night positions.
• Shift differentials: $2/hour for nights, $2/hour for weekends.

Schedule

• Full‑time, part‑time, and PRN opportunities available.
• Shifts include days, nights, evenings, and weekends.
