Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant, Critical Care Nocturnist

About the role

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider Nocturnist to join their Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Team.

Responsibilities

• Obtain patient and family histories
• Perform physical and developmental assessments
• Made diagnoses
• Participate in developing a management plan
• Perform invasive procedures
• Obtain specialist consultations
• Teach and counsel patients and families
• Participate in teaching residents and students
• Perform appropriate documentation

Requirements

• Current Active/clear Florida APRN or PA license in good standing
• AHA BLS & PALS certification upon hire

Qualifications

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care Certification preferred
• Pediatric APP experience in Intensive Care, Transport, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine welcomed
• New-to-practice APPs encouraged to apply and will be supported through structured onboarding, mentorship, and training
