About the role
Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join their Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Team.
Responsibilities
- Obtain patient and family histories
- Perform physical and developmental assessments
- Made diagnoses
- Participate in developing a management plan
- Perform invasive procedures
- Obtain specialist consultations
- Teach and counsel patients and families
- Participate in teaching residents and students
- Perform appropriate documentation
Requirements
- Current Active/clear Florida APRN or PA license in good standing
- AHA BLS & PALS certification upon hire
Qualifications
- Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care Certification
- Pediatric APP experience (Intensive Care, Transport, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine welcomed)
- New-to-practice APPs (with appropriate background) encouraged to apply and will be supported through structured onboarding, mentorship, and training
