Pediatric Nurse Practicioner, School Based Health - Eisenberg Elementary

About the role

The Pediatric Advanced Practice Nurse will join our Eisenberg Elementary New Castle county School Based Health System Team. This role is a 0.75 FTE associate position operating on a 10-month schedule each year.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct and indirect care to patients and their families in the ambulatory and outpatient settings within the Seaford School system
• Carries out the major responsibility for the student’s health care needs including evaluation, management, and follow-up
• Occasionally includes various additional responsibilities such as telehealth support

Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (PNP)
• Pediatric Primary Care NP Certification required
• Three years of pediatric primary care experience
• Active Delaware (or compact state) Registered Nurse Licensure required
• Active Delaware Advanced Practice Nurse Licensure with prescriptive authority required
• Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) if practicing in Delaware
• Federal DEA registration with Office Address
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider (HCP) Certification required

Qualifications

• Experience in pediatric primary care
• Ability to provide comprehensive care in an outpatient setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of telehealth services and technologies

Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
