Pediatric School Nurse RN

Position Overview

Affirmed Home Care is seeking compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses (RNs) for per diem school-based nursing opportunities with the Phillipsburg Board of Education. This role is ideal for nurses who enjoy working in a supportive school environment and are passionate about providing high-quality care to students across all grade levels.

Key Responsibility

Serve as a substitute school nurse — Provide coverage for school nurses during absences, ensuring safe and consistent student health support

Pay Rate

RN: $45/hr

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey RN License
• Pediatric nursing experience in home care or acute care preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Valid driver’s license preferred
• Physical exam within the past 12 months
• PPD or QuantiFERON within 1 year (or chest X-ray within 5 years)
• Proof of MMR immunization within 10 years
• Proof of flu vaccination or approved medical exemption
