Pediatric Neurosurgeon

About the role

Help build the future of pediatric neurosurgery in Nevada. As one of our foundational pediatric neurosurgeons, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape clinical programs, drive growth, and help develop Nevada's first freestanding children's hospital while providing highly specialized care to a rapidly growing pediatric population.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of healthcare professionals committed to providing quality care and excellent patient experience.
• Collaborate with an established APP, supported by collegial staff and leadership.
• Conveniently locate all clinic, surgical, and call responsibilities on one hospital campus.
• Sustainable call rotation, with additional compensation for supplemental coverage.
• Eligible for an adjunct faculty appointment with the University of Utah Division of Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Opportunity for leadership and research roles will exist over time.

Requirements

• MD or DO degree from a fully accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine.
• ACGME accredited residency training in Neurological Surgery, and fellowship training in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurosurgery.
• Active, unobstructed Nevada medical license, or the ability to obtain one.
• BLS certification.

• Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health’s credentialing process.

Pay

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
