Pediatric Inpatient Certified Pharmacy Technician - 7 on/7 off Overnight

About the role

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the safe and accurate delivery of medications to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities

• Supports pharmacists and clinical teams in preparing, dispensing, and delivering medications.
• Applies departmental processes for inventory control.
• Performs activities as directed by Pharmacists and/or Pharmacy Managers.
• Delivers outstanding customer service to both internal and external customers.
• Operates computer systems and utilizes technology.

Requirements

• Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) through PTCB or NHA.
• TN Pharmacy Technician License.
• Less than 1 year of experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved pharmacy technician program.
• Basic understanding of computers and pharmaceutical drug preparation, dispensing, and distribution.
• Knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
