Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking an experienced Pediatric Practice Medical Director to lead and support high-quality inpatient pediatric services at Mercy Health – Tiffin Hospital, a community-focused hospital with a collaborative care environment. This leadership opportunity combines clinical excellence with operational and quality oversight, offering flexibility and a balanced schedule. Tiffin is just 90 minutes from Columbus and Cleveland, OH!
Position Highlights
Leadership Role: Provide clinical leadership and oversight for the pediatric hospitalist program
Clinical Engagement: Maintain active inpatient pediatric practice, including daytime rounding
On-Call Coverage: Out-of-house call with a 30-minute response time
Key Responsibilities
Medical direction and oversight of pediatric inpatient services
Collaboration with hospital administration and multidisciplinary teams
Oversight of quality initiatives, clinical protocols, and best practices
Attendance at deliveries as requested
Performance of newborn circumcisions
Coordination of stabilization and transport when needed
Support of physician scheduling, mentoring, and program development

Qualifications
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatrics
Leadership Experience - Director Level Preferred
Ability to obtain and maintain OH medical licensure
