Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is seeking a dedicated, team-oriented Pediatric Hospitalist to join our growing team at OhioHealth in Athens, Ohio - A premier healthcare facility known for delivering high-quality, family-focused care.

Position Highlights

  • Newborn nursery coverage with seamless support from our experienced Pediatrix neonatologists
  • Three Pediatric Hospitalist team model fostering collaboration and work-life balance
  • "Round-and-go" schedule with home call: 10x shifts per month is full-time
  • Circumcisions performed by hospitalists
  • Pediatric consultations for the ED—providing timely evaluations, treatment plans, and support to the emergency team
  • Collaborative environment with neonatologists and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care
  • Engagement in CQI initiatives and clinical research to advance quality outcomes and innovation
  • Access to a vast national network of over 400 NICUs and thousands of providers across the Pediatrix system—sharing knowledge, support, and best practices
