Pediatric Hospitalist Position AdventHealth Lake Nona
About the role
The role involves providing well newborn care, attending high-risk deliveries, coordinating newborn transfers, and managing pediatric patients in the Pediatric Observation Unit. The schedule includes both in-hospital and remote 24-hour call rotations.
Responsibilities
- High risk delivery attendance and newborn stabilization
- Well newborn care admissions, daily rounds, and discharges
- Pediatric patient care within the Pediatric Observation Unit
- ED pediatric consults
- Newborn coordination of transfers to higher level of care as indicated
Requirements
- Board Certification/Eligibility in American Board of Pediatrics
Qualifications

The Level 4 NICU in Orlando has over 100 NICU beds with access to major medical/surgical pediatric subspecialties.
