Pediatric Hospitalist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Role Overview: The pediatric hospitalist will provide inpatient and outpatient care in a not-for-profit hospital serving over 400,000 residents. Responsibilities: Manage a 17-bed pediatric floor with an average daily census of 5 patients and a newborn nursery with 15 patients. Provide day shift coverage and be available for 24-hour call from home or hotel after daily rounding. Support approximately 2,400 deliveries annually, ensuring continuous patient care. Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in Pediatrics is required. Ability to handle pediatric and neonatal cases, with experience in inpatient and nursery settings. Strong communication and ability to work independently during call shifts. Key Duties: Conduct daily rounds, oversee patient management, and respond to call coverage as needed. No procedures are required. The role involves working on-site with a focus on pediatric and newborn patient care.
