Pediatric Hospitalist - Locum Tenens Coverage

About the Role

This position is for a Pediatric Hospitalist providing inpatient and clinic coverage in a regional hospital serving over 400,000 residents. The role involves managing a 17-bed pediatric ward and newborn nursery, supporting approximately 2,400 deliveries annually.

Responsibilities

• Provide day shift coverage with call responsibilities, including rounding and being available from home or hotel after daily rounds.
• Manage an average of 5 pediatric patients and 15 newborns daily.

Requirements

• Board certification in Pediatrics is required.
• Experience in inpatient pediatric care.
• Ability to perform rounding and provide call coverage.

• 24-hour rounding and call responsibilities, with no specified shift times beyond day shift and call coverage.
