Pediatric Hospitalist
About the role
Piedmont Columbus Regional is seeking a BE/BC Pediatric Hospitalist to join their team at Piedmont Physicians Children's Hospital. This position is hospital employed with Piedmont Physician Group, a multi-specialty practice of 90+ doctors.
Responsibilities
- Work with a highly skilled nursing team
- Collaborate with two Pediatric Hospitalists, a Pediatric Intensivist, and a Pediatric Surgeon Dr. Don Nakayama
- Treat sick and injured kids in a child-friendly environment
- Provide specialty inpatient rooms to accommodate various pediatric patients
- Expand pediatric programs and services through the new Bill and Olivia Amos Children's Hospital
Requirements
- Board Certification in Pediatrics
- Experience in hospital medicine preferred
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Current license to practice medicine in Georgia

Bill and Olivia Amos Children's Hospital
The new Bill and Olivia Amos Children's Hospital is the only stand-alone children's hospital in the region, dedicated to treating sick and injured kids in a child-friendly environment. It provides the space needed to expand pediatric programs and services for years to come.
