About the role
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality patient care in a pediatric setting.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor signs and symptoms to identify physiological and psychosocial changes
- Document care plans, diagnoses, and outcomes
- Perform interventions based on priorities and policies
- Adapt care plans as needed through evaluation
- Utilize clinical judgment to establish priorities and meet patient needs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Current state license
- BLS certification
- Recent LPN/RN experience preferred
- Current PPD or Chest X-ray
Skills
- Strong clinical judgment
- Effective communication
- Ability to make efficient decisions in a fast-paced environment
Schedule
This role involves weekday and weekend shifts, including day or overnight hours, caring for pediatric patients with G-tube, Trach, or Vent needs in Stafford and Dumfries.
