Pediatric HIV Clinical MD Fellow

About the role

The Department of Pediatric Infectious Diseases at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is seeking a non-ACGME accredited fellowship position in HIV medicine starting in July 1, 2027.

Responsibilities

• Train in HIV medicine for pediatric, pediatric infectious diseases, and internal medicine-pediatrics practitioners.
• Participate in the outpatient Hughes Infectious Diseases clinic serving infants, children, adolescents, and young adults with HIV infection.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, advanced practice providers, social workers, clinical research associates, pharmacists, psychologists, psychiatrists, school services, chaplains, and child life specialists.
• Engage in didactic and practical education in pediatric HIV care and scientific investigation.

Requirements

• A MD or local equivalent degree.
• Three years of postdoctoral training in pediatrics from an ACGME-accredited pediatric residency program or an RCPSC-accredited pediatric residency program in Canada.
• Foreign medical graduates must meet additional qualifications and conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be eligible for US medical licensure.
• Must have completed a non-accredited pediatric residency program.
