Qualifications

• Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Fellowship
• Preferred: Additional advanced Neuro-Oncology fellowship
• BC in Pediatrics and BC/BE in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology
• Physician MD/DO licensed in Indiana or eligible for medical licensure

Responsibilities

Guide a highly collaborative multidisciplinary team of neuro-oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurse coordinators, psychologists, social workers, and other professionals.

Deliver exceptional, family-centered care through inpatient and outpatient consultations, outpatient clinics, and inpatient service.

Mentor trainees and junior faculty, contribute to program development, and shape the future of pediatric neuro-oncology research and care at Riley Children’s Health.

Requirements

Comprehensive interdisciplinary teams support children, adolescents, and young adults diagnosed with cancer and blood disorders, treating more than 80% of the state’s young cancer patients.

Care for over 300 new oncology patients and perform over 13,000 outpatient visits, offering expert care for leukemia, solid tumors, brain tumors, hematopoietic and stem cell transplants, as well as general hematology, sickle cell disease, thalassemia, bone marrow failure syndromes, hemophilia, and other coagulation disorders.
